Dr. Lucas earned a Bachelor's of Social Work from Shaw University, Raleigh NC, a Master's in Christian Education and Religion from Shaw University Divinity School, Raleigh NC, and a Doctorate of Theology degree from Nashville Theological Institute.

 

Dr. Lucas ministers and shares the Gospel Message in her position as a Hospice Chaplain. In this role she supports terminally ill patients and their families in meeting their religious and spiritual needs at the patient’s end of life. Dr. Lucas uses every opportunity available to discuss the sufficiency of God’s grace and the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. 

 

Dr. Lucas is an ordained Elder who functions in the Office of a Prophet of God.  Dr. Lucas operates in Deliverance Ministry, Spiritual Gifts Development, Discipleship Training and Biblical Instruction. 

 

Dr. Lucas is Founder and Overseer of A Heart for God International Ministries, a teaching ministry whose mission is to express the Heart of God, to articulate the thoughts, mind, and the Will of God in the Earth. Her desire is to draw mankind into the knowledge of God through teaching and Spiritual formation. In addition to being a Servant of God, Dr. Lucas is a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
